The Ultrasound Clinic is an Affiliated Provider to Southern Cross Health Society. This allows us to provide an easy and efficient claim approval process for Southern Cross Members.
If you are a Southern Cross Health member, all you need to do is provide us with your Southern Cross member number or policy number when you book your appointment. If you don't have this information on hand, we can also use your full name and date of birth. We will seek approval for your claim from Southern Cross on your behalf. Most claims are approved within 60 seconds.
Southern Cross members do not have to pay the full cost of the scan upfront. As an affiliated provider, we submit the claim to Southern Cross on your behalf and receive payment directly from Southern Cross.
The amount you have to pay at the time of your scan depends on your policy. You may have full cover in which case there will be nothing to pay, or Southern Cross may cover a portion of the fee and you will pay any remaining shortfall at the time of your scan. We will let you know what the shortfall fee is once your claim has been approved.
